Located in Chatham-Kent since 2001 Wellington Polymer Technology Inc. produces “Enviroshake“Quality Engineered Roofing using a mixture of post-industrial plastics, recycled elastomers (scrap tires/crumb rubber), natural fibers (renewable and sustainable), compatibilizer (proprietary compound) and additives. The shingles have been featured on various TV segments including Bob Vila’s “Home Again”.
